国の伝統的工芸品の1つです
博多織は、幕府の御用達から庶民にまで広がった織物で、たくさんの経糸 (たていと) に数本の糸をまとめ合わせた太い緯糸 (よこいと) を強く打ち込んでつくられるコシのある丈夫な生地が特徴です。
「Color2 GIFT」は佐賀県唐津市で生産されている博多織を使用し、オリジナル製品をお届けします。

五色献上
江戸時代に幕府へ献上されていた博多織には代表的な「五つの色」があり、それぞれの色に高貴さと権威を象徴する意味が含まれています。
この象徴的な色から「五色献上」と呼ばれ、礼装や贈答品として武士や大名の間で愛用されました。
Hakata-ori features varieties originating from the “Five Colors,” each hue carrying meaning and symbolizing nobility and authority. Due to these distinctive colors, it is called “Five-Color Tribute” and is highly valued as formal attire and gifts.

博多織の代表的な模様の総称で、献上品としての歴史をもつ柄です。
魔除け・子孫繁栄・商売繁盛など縁起の良い吉祥文様で、小物や贈答品にも幅広く用いられています。
